    松江古稱華亭，別名有云間、茸城、谷水等，是西南出名的魚米第一村。唐天寶十多年之久（75一年），置華亭縣。元至元十五年（1272年）升為華亭府，翌年設置成松江府。至清嘉🧔慶十多年之久（1805年）演變成為1府（松江）、7縣（華亭、廣州、青浦、婁、奉賢、金山、南匯）、1廳（川沙）。民國元年（1910年）廢府，華亭、婁縣合全為華亭縣，歸河北省省轄區。民國十年（191幾年）改稱松江縣。一汽解放后，蘇南行政事務署設松江版官。1956年6月，松江版官撤消，改隸鄭州版官。1956年13月由河北省省劃歸廣州市。1996年12月，國家發改委報批撤縣設區。
Songjiang, once called Huating in ancient times, also known as Yunjian, Rongcheng, and Gushui, is a famous town south of the Yangtze River. In 751 of the Tang Dynasty, Songjiang was named Huating County. In 1277, during the Yuan Dynasty, it was named Huating Prefecture, which was changed to Songjiang Prefecture the next year. Then, in 1805, in the Qing Dynasty, it was developed into Songjiang Prefecture with Huating, Shanghai, Qingpu, Lou, Fengxian, Jinshan, Nanhui, and Chuansha Counties subject to it. In 1912, when the prefecture was abolished, Huating and Lou were merged into Huating County of Jiangsu Province. In 1914, Huating County was changed to Songjiang County. After🐻 liberation, the area became Songjiang Special District. In March 1958, it was merged into Suzhou Special District, and in November, Songjiang became a county of Shanghai. Then, in February 1998, the State Council approved Songjiang as a district.

    松江區位分析于長江三邊形洲內滬市華中部，為于東經121°45’，北緯31°，在黃浦江中長江上游。風景區內滬杭普通火車、滬蘇湖普通火車、G60滬昆繞城快速路（滬💧杭繞城快速路二級機耕路）、G50滬渝繞城快速路⭕（滬青平繞城快速路二級機耕路）、G1503滬繞城繞城快速路（同三個國家道）、G15沈海繞城快速路（嘉金繞城快速路）、S32申嘉湖繞城快速路（飛機場繞城快速路）、輪軌出行銀行9號線、21號線等專線生成了縱行重疊的路出行銀行網，是滬對接正個長三邊形、大范圍地擴散長江河流的體系化空間區域。松江正空前加入滬華中的首要平臺。

The city had 1♏,895.5 hours of sunshine, 110.0 hours higher than average, and 1,095.8 millimeters of rainfall, 114.1 millimeters less than average. The highest temperature was 40.5 degrees Celsius, and the lowest was -5.0 degrees Celsius.

    松江區飲用水源地屬黃浦江人工濕地，上受淀山湖、太湖、浙北天目山等處來水，經黃浦江下泄入江海。ꦇ國內河渠縱橫，水塘大量，是典型案例的水網地域。每個拒馬河均系感潮河道治理，每白晝黑夜漲、落各2次。

 &ensp♉;  2030年，全縣發展計劃性興盛加行業（生家產一部位）長期性變現行業總總值2969.72億人民幣，比本年增速0.1%，占全縣規上的總量增加至66.0%。在其中，五大興盛加行業變現行業總總值1131.49億人民幣，比本年上升6.2%。一部位加行業授予迅速增速，如：新第四代訊息枝術比本年增速7.7%，新發熱能源比本年增速3.8%。
In 2022, the strategic emerging industries (manufacturing sector) achieved a total industrial output value of 296.971 billion yuan, up by 0.1% over the previous year, accounting for 66.0% of the district’s output value of industries above the designated size. Among them, the Six Strategic Emerging Industries achieved an industrial output value of 113.149 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 6.2%. Some i♍ndustries achieved relatively rapid growth, for example, the new generation of information technology industry increased 7.7% year on year, and the new energy industry increased 3.8% year on year.

The entire process system was further improved, including the completion of three demonstration transfer stations for recyclable materials, a total of 89 intelligent bins for recyclable materials, the installation of intelligent monitoring equipment at 303 classified placement points, the completion of 3,290 sets of road and shopping mall waste bin opening renovations, and the implementation of subdivision and upgrading of recyclable material containers in 17 public places. The total designed disposal capacity of Tianma Waste-free Environmental Protection Industrial Park reached 2.13 million tons/year, including Tianma Incineration Plant Phase I and Phase II, Wet Waste Recycling Treatment Plant, Construction Waste Recycling Treatment Plant, and the disposal capacity was at the forefront of Shanghai. The district started the Wet Waste Disposal Expa💞nsion Project, of which construction progress was the fastest among the seven similar projects in Shanghai. By leveraging the en🍃ergy-gathering capabilities of leading industrial internet platforms such as COSMOPlat, Yonyou Jingzhi, and ICkey, more than 300 professional service providers, network security suppliers, and in♛telligent hardware enterprises from upstream and downstream of the industrial chain have been gathered, forming an initial industrial cluster. Focusing on the extension of the industrial chain and ecological construction, 22 joint laboratories/professional research institutions, 14 innovation centers, 6 national public service platforms, and 4 data centers for the industrial internet were introduced and built in the district.

The alliance of ideological and political courses in primary and secondary schools, led by affiliated universities, was steadily advanced, established a moral education management system for all personnel education, formed 8 integrated alliances of ideological and political courses in primary and secondary schools, and successfully created a key experimental area for the city's “Great Ideological and Political Courses”. The district prepared to establish 8 preschool education groups, added 2 municipal demonstration kindergartens and 3 municipal first-level kindergartens, and increased the coverage rate of inclusive preschool education to 92%. 16 new public integrated nurseries and kindergartens were set up to increase the proportion of integrated childcare to 58%. The district paid close attention to the “Five Management”, implemented the “double reduction” policy to the letter, carried out the special rectification of off-campus training institutions, and implemented the government guidance price for discipline training at the compulsory educational stage. The establishment of the Songjiang Branch of No.2 High School of East China Normal University Basic Education Group created a new pattern of close group education led by four experimental demonstration high schools in the city. The district made every effort to promote the construction of new higher vocational education, successfully established Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Vocational College, and Shanghai City Science and Technology School won the gold medal in the fine carpentry project in the special competition of the WorldSkills. The district deepened the reform of the middle school entrance examination, optimized the detailed rules of allocation of quota and independent enrollment, and maintained high scores in the middle school entrance examination. By accelerating the layout of the five university subject competitions, and promoting the comprehensive cultivation of top-notch innovative talents, the district’s key undergraduate rate of College Entrance Examination reached a record high, an increase of 2 percentage points compared to last year. Four students entered Tsinghua and Peking University.

Songjiang promoted the dual improvement of public health service level and medical and health service capacity, and started the construction of Songjiang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Jiaotong University Medical College Songjiang Research Institute. During the year, tourist hotels in Songjiang received 1.2952 million guests, the average room occupancy rate ꦬwas 45.54%. Sheshan National Forest Park is the only natural mountainous forest touring site in Shanghai. The Park covers an area of 267 acres with 80.04% of the scenic spot covered by forests. There are 12 hills in the p🍌ark, stretching their way from the southwest to the northeast, like a string of jade pearls with a total length of 13km, offering Shanghai’🍬s flat land a mountainous view. In June 1993, the former National Ministry of Forestry approved the establishment of Sheshan National Forest Park. In 2001, it was honored as one of the first national 4A-level touring sites. The scenic spots that opened to the public are East Sheshan Hill Park, West Sheshan Hill Park, Tianmashan Hill Park, and Xiaokunshan Hill Park.

    天津辰山沉水森林公園
    𝔍 Shanghai Chenshan Botanไical Garden
    蘇州辰山作物園處于松江區佘山國家市場旅游區內（辰花公路工程38811號），是水利水電工程府、全球生物職業技術學院和國家林草局進行合作結對共建的集教育科研、科晉和一游一游于立體式的合理性作物園，征地賠償整體規模207公傾,是蘇北中北部整體規模最高的作物園。作物四園的辰山古遺存，2016年4月被水利水電工程府公布為蘇州市珍貴文物確保的單位。該遺存2010年初表明，整體規模約為16公傾，逐項分辨為商周時候古詩詞化遺存。
項目由平臺展現出༺區、草本樹木保育區、三大洲草本樹木區和周圍儲存區等多重功能性區形成。展示會會溫室展示會會占地面為12608平米，由熱帶地區花果館、沙生草本樹木館和珍奇草本樹木館組合，為北美洲最高展示會會溫室群，這當中沙生草本樹木館為世界上最高內沙生草本樹木展區。現為祖國4A級旅游區。
Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden is in Sheshan National Tourist Resort (No.3888 Chenhua Highway). It is created through collaboration between the Shanghai Municipal Government, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and the State Forestry Administration, which combines scientific research, popular science, and sightseeing purpose. This remarkable 207-hectare botanical garden is the largest one in East China. Chenshan Ancient Site in the garden was announced by Shanghai Municipal Government as a cultural relics protection unit of Shanghai in April 2014. The site was first found in early 2009, covering an area of about 16 hectares. It is preliminarily determined to be an ancient cultural site in the Shang and Zhou dynasties.
The botanical garden consists of four functional areas: the central exhibition area, the plant conservation area, the plant areas on five continents, and the peripheral buffer zone. The exhibition greenhouse covers an area of 12,608 square meters. It consists of Tropical Flower and Fruit Museum, Sand Botany Museum, and Exotic Botanꦺy Museum. It is the largest exhibition greenhouse group in Asia. Among them, Sand Botany Museum is the largest indoor sand botany exhibition hall in th🔯e world. Now Chenshan Botanical Garden is a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    北京方塔園

上海方塔園始建于1978年，占地182畝，原址為唐宋時期古華亭的鬧市中心。園內有各級不可移動文物共8處，其中包括興圣教寺塔，1996年11月被國務院公布為全國重點文物保護單位；蘭瑞堂、磚刻照壁、陳化成祠、天妃宮和望仙橋，2014年4月被市政府公布為上海市文物保護單位；明代石像生、張氏宅前廳，2013年6月被公布為松江區文物保護單位。
整個園景以北宋的方塔為中心，四周環設宋代望仙橋,明代磚雕照壁、蘭瑞堂、石雕園,清代天妃宮、陳公祠,還建有何陋軒、其昌廊等。現為國家4A級景區。
Established in 1978, Shanghai Square Pagoda Park covers an area of 182 mu. Its original site was the downtown of Huating during the Tang and Song Dynasties. There are 8 national, municipal, and district unmovable cultural relics in the park, including Xingshengjiao Temple Pagoda, which was announced as national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in November 1996; Lanrui Hall, Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks, Chen Huacheng Memorial Temple, Temple of the Queen of Heaven and Wangxian Bridge were announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014, Stone Statues of Ming Dynasty, Front Hall of Zhang’s Residence were announced as Songjiang district relics protection unit in June 2013.
The entire landscape is centered on the Square Pagoda of the Northern Song Dynꦜasty, surrounded by the Wangxian Bridge of the Southern Song Dynasty, the Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks of the Ming Dynasty, Lanrui Hall, stone carving garden, the Temple of the Queen of Heaven, Chen Huacheng Memorial Hall, Helou 🐼Veranda, Qichang Corridor and so on. The park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    傷害醉白池城市公園

    醉白池是西安十大哥特式風格庭院景觀其一，占地面76畝。苑區有2處無可手機藏品，在這其中：醉白池，2018年4月被市政公用工程府頒布為西安市藏品護理的工作基層單位；鏤空雕廳，1985年4月被頒布為松江縣藏品護理的工作基層單位。庭院景觀發源北宋松江進士朱之純的私宅子院，名“谷陽園”。后為明朝大書畫音樂藝術家董其昌觴詠處，也是杰出人物文學士常游之城。清順康年間，工部郎中、現代田園詩人、書畫家顧大申重加修剪，因崇敬唐大現代田園詩人白居易，仿宋宰相韓琦慕白之意，將所建池上庭院景觀排序為“醉白池”，目前為止原有370常年文化。苑區現保持著北宋的韓國樂天集團軒，明朝的周圍廳、疑舫、求學堂，清朝池上草堂、雪海堂、寶成樓、鏤空雕廳等亭臺樓榭樓閣；收藏網站有元趙孟頫毛筆書畫真跡《前、后赤壁賦》石刻、清朝《云間邦彥用戶畫像》碑刻等音樂藝術瑰寶。苑區掛置的當代毛筆書畫名家名作題字匾聯更加是不計較其數。現為國內4A級自然💫保護區。
With an area of 76 mu, Shanghai Zuibaichi Park is one of the five ancient gardens in Shanghai. There are two immovable cultural relics in the park, including Zuibaichi, which was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014; Woodcarving Hall, which was announced as Songjiang County Cultural Relics Protection Unit in July 1985. The predecessor of the garden was Guyang Garden, the residence of Zhu Zhichun, a jinshi (a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations) in the Song Dyn☂asty. The garden was also a place for Dong Qichang (a famous calligrapher and painter in Ming Dynasty) to drink and write poems. 370 years ago, during the period of Shunzhi and Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, it was a private villa of Gu Dashen, chief of the Ministry of Wo♋rks, poet, and painter, he rebuilt the garden and changed its name to “Zuibaichi” because he worshipped Bai Juyi (poet of the Tang dynasty), also imitated Han Qi, the prime minister of the Song Dynasty, who admired Bai Juyi. The garden has many pavilions, terraces, and open halls such as Letian Xuan (a small room or veranda with windows) of the Song Dynasty, Simian (four sides) Hall, Yi Fang (a boat-shaped building), Reading Hall of the Ming Dynasty, and Cottage above the Pool, Xuehai Hall, Baocheng Building, Woodcarving Hall of the Qing Dynasty. Art treasures such as stone carvings of Zhao Mengfu’s calligraphy authentic works “Visit to the Red Cliff” of the Yuan Dynasty and steles of “Portraits of Excellent Talents in Yunjian” of the Qing Dynasty are collected in the park. There are countless contemporary calligraphers’ inscribed tablets and couplets hanging in the park. Now the park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

    廣富林藝術古跡最靠近松江名城北部地區,東至龍源路，南至廣富林路西至沈涇塘，北至銀澤北路，全部整個產業園區的規模可達850畝，20年被認為4A級旅游活動度假旅游活動項目，同生日榮獲成都市鄉村旅游活動旅游活動度假獨特的操作示范空間區域。是日前經考古學發覺的成都29處古跡中帶有內容最多種多樣,最具養護與發展幣值的古藝術古跡。廣富林藝術古跡1974年被展示為成都市古建筑護理工作單位維護工作單位養護點；于2013 年三月被國務院文件核準為7批我國古建筑護理工作單位維護工作單位養護工作單位；知也橋，16年一月被展示為松江區古建筑護理工作單位維護工作單位養護點。

Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture is in the north of Songjiang New City, it spans Longyuan Road to the east, Guangfulin Road to the south, Shenjing River to the west, and North Yinze Road to the north. Covering an area of about 850 mu, it was rated as a 4A level tourist attraction in 2020, and in the same year, it was awarded the title of a comprehensive tourism demonstration area in Shanghai. It is currently the most abundant and valuable ancient cultural site for protection and development among the 29 archaeological discoveries in Shanghai. Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture was announced as Shanghai Municipal cultural relics protection point in 1977, and a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in March 2013; Zhiye Bridge was announced as Songjiang district cultural relics protection point in January 2016.
The site takes the protection zone of the archaeological site as its core and presents its original form with farming ecological culture and authentic rural scenery. The profound culture is the core competitiveness of Guangfulin. The entire park is planned and designed with five major areas: the eastern part is the Confucian, Taoist, and Buddhist culture exhibition area, the southern part is the commercial supporting service area, the western part is the folk culture exhibition area, t🔯he northern part is the unearthed cultural relics exhibition area, and the central part is the agricultural culture protection area. Guangfulin echoes Songjiang Prefectural City, Songjiang City of Warehouse, Sijing Ancient Town, and other historical and cultural scenes, which has become the destination of the “Root-seeking Journey of Profound Culture” in Shanghai.

Guangfulin Country Park is built around the five core elements of “field, water, road, forest, and village”, and is based on the natural ecological landscape of farming. The block is divided into 12 areas, such as a rape flower field, green field trail, forest oxygen bar, La💫olaiqing rice field, and leisurely trail in the paddy. Shanghai Pujiang River Source Scenic Spot is the starting point of Shanghai’s mother river, Huangpu River, also known as the “Zero Kilometer of Huangpu River”. The Xietang River and Yuanxiejing Creek, which meander from Jiangsu🌠 and Zhejiang, converge here to form a delta-shaped treasure land and flow into Huangpu River through Hengliaojing Creek. At the confluence of the three rivers, the river is vast, the sailboats in the river competing for the current, the nets rising and falling by the river, the reeds on the bund swaying, the pink peaches and green willows setting each other off. These breeds the endless scenery of a water town in the south of the Yangtze River, from which the scenic spot got its name “Pujiang River Source”.     松江科技館也是座集投資、研究探討、動態作品展示出松江厲史文化遺產為分離式的特點史志類科技館。展場總面積1200平米米，包括兩邊兩層。兩層為科技館常規櫥窗創意擺放方面“流沙沉寶”展，該櫥窗創意擺放方面包括“浦江晨曦”、“史河🌠波光”、“藝海丹青”三個大板塊龍頭股，有效設備地動態作品展示出了松江沿海地區考古發現和科技館館藏的文化遺產，同樣運用生態景觀還原、門頭廣告、多網媒等輔助性櫥窗創意擺放方面模式，最直觀體現了松江以前的每個一時期社會化生產的和美工發展趨勢成功。1樓為零時展場，波動期地深入推進各種各樣專題報告展覽館。展場外材ജ料的兩邊，由碑廊和碑亭組成了碑刻動態作品展示出區，東碑廊櫥窗創意擺放方面明、清松江府通告等史料碑刻，西碑廊櫥窗創意擺放方面趙孟頫、董其昌、沈荃等書畫美工碑刻。
Songjiang Museum is a local chronicles museum, where the historical relics in Songjiang are collected, researched, and exhibited. The 2-story exhibition room covers an area of ♛1,200 square meters. The basic exhibition of “Treas💜ures Buried in the Sand”, which is divided into 3 portions named “Dawn of Huangpu River”, “Glisten of the Historical River” and “Painting Arts”, is on the second floor. The exhibition scientifically shows the cultural relics, which are held in the museum and unearthed in Songjiang, and reflects the achievements during the different periods of social development combined with landscape restoration, lightbox, multimedia, and other auxiliary display methods. The first floor is a temporary exhibition hall, and various special exhibitions are held from time to time. Located on the east and west sides outside the exhibition hall, the Stele Gallery is composed of long corridors and tablet pavilions. The East Stele Gallery displays the historical materials and inscriptions of Songjiang Prefecture during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The West Stele Gallery displays the calligraphic art inscriptions of Zhao Mengfu, Dong Qichang, and Shen Quan.

൲      Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty
    唐經幢全名“佛頂尊勝陀♌羅尼經幢”，是在松江區中蘭州路西司弄43號中山完全小學大學生內，建于唐大中第十五年（859年），198八年年初被國務院辦公廳每天為國內著重文化遺產愛護標準，是鄭州地區劃分僅存最歷史悠久的磚面房子。經幢原料為石灰石巖，僅存21級，高9.3米。幢身8面，內刻《佛頂尊勝陀羅尼經》并序，并且 建幢銘。各級政府各用以托座、束腰🦂、圓柱形、華蓋、腰檐等結構類型疊成儀態良好的經幢，每級大個部分作八角形，木雕刻優雅，有沽島的海紋、寶相芙蓉、卷云、力士、巨星、普薩、贍養人及盤龍、蹲獅等。八棱八面，故又稱之為為八棱碑，熟稱“唐經幢”，別名“石塔”。
The Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty is located at the campus of Zhongshan Primary School, No.43 Xisi Alley, East Zhongshan Road, Songjiang. Its full name is the Usnisa Vijaya Dharani Sutra Pillar. Built in the Tang Dynasty (859) and announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit in January 1988, the pillar is the oldest ground building in Shanghai. The limestone pillar is built of 21 stone blocks with a height of 9.3 meters, engraღved with Usnisa Vijaya Dharani Sutra and the preface, as well as the building inscription. All the levels are stacked in the form of brackets, corbels, columns, canopies, and waist eaves to compose a graceful sutra pillar. Most of the sutras at each level are octagonal, exquisitely carved, with sea water patterns, precious lotus flowers✨, cirrus clouds, warriors, heavenly kings, bodhisattvas, patronage, dragons, squatting lions, etc. With eight ridges and eight slides, it is also known as the Eight-Ridge Pillar, commonly known as the “Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty”, also known as the “Stone Pillar”.
    大倉橋
     Dacang Bridge
  🧔  大倉橋靠近永豐街辦中四川路倉橋弄南，2013年4月被發布公告為昆明市文物保證保證部門，是一種座高10余米，跨越50余米的五孔橋拱大石橋。橋名叫永豐，因橋南為松江府漕運倉城ꦰ，故別名大倉橋。現為昆明中北部出名的明清大石橋一個。
Located at Cangqia💎o Lane South, West Zhongshan Road in Yongfeng Sub-district, Dacangꦦ Bridge was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014. The five-arch stone bridge spans 50 meters long and 10 meters high over the river. It was formerly known as Yongfeng Bridge and later named Dacang Bridge for there was Water Transport Warehouse City of Songjiang Prefecture to the south of the bridge. It is one of the famous big stone bridges of the Ming Dynasty in Shanghai.

    松江清真寺為于岳陽道路路橋居委會缸甏巷75號，1980年八月被展示為廣州市市文化遺產維護企業單位，是廣州市地段更早的伊斯蘭教佛教寺廟，創建于元至正二十七年（134在一年—136八年），初名真教寺。清♓朝時段經歷過次數修繕和開工建設，從而，當下的清真寺既包含元代時段的工程工程設計工程施工風格圖片，又有清朝幾代的工程工程設計工程施工獨特。整體工程工程設計工程施工挺大殿、窯殿、穿廊，另有南、北大講堂，邦克門等，之中窯殿和邦克門多處最具該寺工程工程設計工程施工獨特。
Located at No.75 Gangbeng Alley, Maluqiao Neighborhood Committee in Yueyang Sub-district, Songjiang Mosque was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit i🐽n August 1980. As one of the oldest mosques in Shanghai, Songjiang Mosque was built during 1341-1368, also named Zhenjiao Mosque. After many renovations and expansions during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the mosque today features the style of construction of the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. The main buildings include Central Hall, Kiln Hall, Crossing Corridor, North and South Speech Hall, and Bangke Chamber. Among them, the Kiln Hall and Bangke Chamber can best represent the traits of the Mosque.
    西林禪寺
     Xilin Temple
    西林禪寺🌠，真名“西林精舍”，又被粉絲稱為崇恩寺，座落在松江區中山里路66六號，初建于唐咸通十五年（872），僧睿增建于南宋咸淳元年（1265），到目前為止現有1150余載歷史長河，是松江區佛法同業公會的所屬地，為西安佛法十種深林產品之一。明洪武二十五年（13810年）從建，明正統英宗清朝皇帝敕封“西林大宋禪寺”。宮殿后有一個塔，宋名崇恩塔，明易為圓應塔，供奉1代祖師圓應門禪師舍利，稱為“西林塔”，1982年2月被每天為西安市古物保護的企業。塔身七層八面，磚木組成部分，塔高46.5𒁃米，到目前為止仍為西安省份最大且珍藏版古物最常的一個古塔。
Located at No.666 Middle Zhongshan Road, Songjiang District, Xilin Temple, formerly known as “Xilin Jingshe”, also known as Chong’en Temple, was originally built in the Tang Dynasty (872), a monk named Rui extended the 🐽tempꦫle in the Southern Song Dynasty (1265). With a history of more than 1,150 years, Xilin Temple is the location of the Buddhist Association of Songjiang District and one of the top ten Buddhist monasteries in Shanghai. The temple was reconstructed in the Ming Dynasty (1387), an emperor named it as Xilin Temple of Ming. Behind the main hall, there stands a 46.5-meter-high, 7-story octagonal pagoda of brick and wood structure, which was called Chong’en Pagoda during the Song Dynasty, then named Yuanying Pagoda during Ming Dynasty, offering the Sarira of its first ancestor, Zen Master Yuanying, also well-known as Xilin Pagoda. Announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in September 1982, this pagoda is the tallest ancient pagoda in Shanghai with the most collection of cultural relics.
